So i think I've finished the first piece. to make a mould from.

weather has been SO COLD here, it did have FROST on it yesterday morning. had to warm it up and fix the cracks from the frozen water swelling up. bad times.

but hey look at that! looks beautiful in front of my pinboard.

Off to London and then Leeds for a wedding tomorrow! how grand! very excited. and then to London Sunday. seeing Katharine for a couple of hours Monday morning which should be great too, and then having a snoop around CCC (Contemporary Ceramics Centre) and CAA (Contemporary Applied Arts) in London.

Lovely view of bath from my steeply parked car last wednesday, had another wonderful talk with claireleft feeling very happy and inspired, (focus on the M4 though, no dreamy thoughts allowed on motorways!)

also as of yesterday i am now a FULL TIME artist!
very exciting. i'm just going to jump right in, give it all i've got.

Spent a lovely three hours sorting things out in the studio, already collected more plastic containers for things than i think i'll ever need!

Tried to do a 'photo joiner'? I remember doing them in gcse art all those years ago! not quite the same lovely effect when it's not a rubbish point and shoot type camera though!

Studio pin board time! I knew there was a good reason i wanted so many cork tiles!

over about and hour, adding more and more stuff was very therapeutic.

Feeling very ready to start making again after my first visit to buy tools and materials this year.

What a Busy week I'm going to have.

It's the new year now! yeah!
after a great new years party i've had to fly full force into the world of tax returns..cash flow forecasting.. bookeeping.. and YEP more travelling i think in the last 6 months i have been on trains more than i ever had before combined, but i am impressed with the speed at which you can get to hartlepool or newcastle from london, 2-3 hours is amazing!

anyway off to dinne with the family tomorrow eve and then a train to london afterwards.

and then MANCHESTER on tuesday night. never been there for an evening before. appreantly i'm going to a vice party... watch this space...

monday and friday i am off to meet to wonderful artists though, so a busy week but probably very inspiring
