Homeworks
As crazy as late summer will be with the Devon studio set up I've gone ahead and managed to sort out being part of the ‘HomeWorks’ exhibition to be held at Mint during September’s London Design Festival (18th September –30th September 2010)
very exciting! I'll be showing two of the three pieces from new designers and one of the larger pieces which i have left from my degree show, fingers crossed something sells, all this travelling, business card making and mosaic-ing is expensive!!

Weekend in Bath
Stayed with Kips for a ocuple of nights on saturday went to an exhibition in bath in the old chapel on walcot st, of Tim Carrolls work, nice stuff, Liked the three painting of characters in boats alot, the faces have a classical quality about them but the lines are so crisp and the work flat and bright it has a modern clean cut look about it, very illustrative.
the old chapel seems like a great building too, open and odd, perfect for a private view.
i found this interview about his work.

while i was in bath i went to the mosaic shop (of course!) still ploughing on with my mosaic wardrobe side project.
Studio set up is steaming ahead for october! More about ArtintheBarn - budleigh salterton very soon!!!
